LIDAR and remote sensing

LIDAR is the acronym for LIght Detection And Ranging. Basically, LIDAR is an optical radar. There are several types of LIDAR systems. Within this project, backscattered LIDAR is developed.

Lasers

For our research and the applications of stabilized lasers, we develop extended cavity laser diodes (ECDL) and cw Nd:YAG lasers at both the fundamental frequency (1064 nm) and the first harmonic (532 nm).
