Laboratory for photoacoustics

Group for photoacoustics.

Photoacoustics group leader:

  • dr Dragan Markushev, full research professor

Researchers

  • dr Dragan Lukić, research associate
  • dr Marica Popović, research associate
  • dr Dragana Markushev, research associate

Research direction

  • The light-matter interactions are investigated, mostly with solid samples in the time and frequency domains. Transport processes with an emphasis on thermal aspects are analyzed, and methods and techniques related to basic and applied sciences intended for industrial applications and protection of the human environment are developed. The subjects of analysis are heat transport, non-radiative relaxation, photogeneration, thermal distributions, thermal bending and elasticity, and application of artificial intelligence at all levels (macro, micro, nano), all types of materials (homogeneous and inhomogeneous, semiconductors, metals, plastics, noble gases) and different morphologies (composite materials, thin films, multilayer structures, polyatomic molecules).

Course offer for incoming students "Heat transfer at macro-, micro- and nano- levels":
