On the stability of localized solutions of complex Ginzburg-Landau equation

- by Najdan Aleksić from the Institute of Physics

Complex Ginzburg-Landau equation is a base model for non-linear media. It describes a series of phenomena, from non-linear waves to phase transformations of the second kind, form super-conductance, super-fluidity and Bose-Einstein condensation to liquid crystals and strings in the field theory. Localized solutions of the Ginzburg-Landau equation (particle structures) and their stability are of a particular interest.
