Our researcher, Bojana Bokić, constructed the dust protection around the femtosecond and high-power laser facility. The cleanroom environment of the facility suffered from high dispersion of laser beams due to high levels of pollutants (dust particles). The measurements of the dispersion have been performed with the Coherent Verdi 10 CW laser (532 nm) at various levels of the output power (from 0.01 to 10 W). The photoelectric probe was placed 10 cm aside the propagating beam. Prior to the protection construction, measured intensity of the dispersed radiation was 510 nW (for 10 W of the output power). After the protection was applied, the intensity measured under same conditions was 290 nW, which is almost 50% of the reduction.
