Laboratory for nonlinear photonics

Group for nonlinear photonics.

Head of the Laboratory:

  • dr Dragana Jović Savić, principal research fellow

Researchers

  • dr Jadranka Vasiljević, research associate
  • MSc Isidora Vlaović, junior research assistant
  • MSc Damir Mitić, junior research assistant

External associates

  • dr Dejan Timotijević, principal research fellow, Center for Multidisciplianry Studies

Former members

  • dr Branislav Rađenović, principal research fellow, 2017-2020

Research direction:

The group is focused on research activities centered around basics of nonlinear photonics and applications in nano- and optical technologies. Our researched topics are focused on the following:

  • Effects of light propagation in photorefractive materials: nonlinear dynamics
  • Photonic crystals: photonic lattice
  • Wave propagation in optically induced photonic lattices
  • Anderson localization
  • Developing novel concepts for all-optical communication and information technologies
  • Non-diffracting beams
  • Excitation of confined modes in Silicon slotted waveguides and microring resonators
  • Eigenmodes of finite length silicon-on-insulator microring resonator arrays
